Job Description
Magnitude recruitment are looking for an experienced multi-lingual Captain to lead a busy 24m motor yacht operating a high-frequency day charter programme in the South of France.
This is a hands-on role suited to a strong leader who thrives in a charter environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the vessel.
The role is also open to a Captain + partner team, where the second crew member can fulfil a Deck/Stew/Cook hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities
- Safe navigation and full operational management of the vessel
- Overseeing a busy day charter schedule with quick turnarounds
- Ensuring exceptional guest experience and service delivery
- Crew leadership, training, and management (if applicable)
- Maintenance oversight and coordination of repairs/upkeep
- Financial management including budgeting and expense tracking
- Liaising with Owner, guests, and management
- Compliance with all maritime regulations and safety procedures
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized motor yachts
- Strong background in busy charter operations (essential)
- Excellent knowledge of the South of France cruising area
- Confident in high-pressure, fast turnaround environments
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on approach across all aspects of vessel operations
- Valid STCW, ENG1, and appropriate CoC
