Job Description

Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced Deckhand to join an 80m+ motor yacht operating a dual-season private programme. This is initially a temporary contract, with the potential to extend into a longer-term position.

The successful candidate will join an established deck team and assist with daily deck operations while maintaining high standards of safety, maintenance, and guest readiness.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Deckhand on yachts

• Powerboat Level 2 (PBL2) required

• Strong understanding of deck maintenance and operational routines

• Experience with mooring, anchoring, and general deck duties

• Valid STCW certification and ENG1

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Male candidate due to cabin arrangements

Deck Responsibilities

• Assist with daily deck maintenance including washdowns and detailing

• Support mooring, anchoring, and tender operations

• Maintain deck equipment and storage areas to high standards

• Assist with guest activities and watersports where required

• Support senior deck crew with operational and safety procedures
