Job Description

Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive Bosun to join an 80m+ motor yacht operating a structured dual-season private programme 

This role is suited to a strong deck leader with proven experience managing deck teams and maintaining high operational standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Officer to ensure the deck department runs efficiently, safely, and professionally while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

3:1 rotation, EUR salary

Key Requirements

• Yachtmaster Offshore licence

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Bosun or Lead Deckhand on similar size yachts

• Strong knowledge of deck operations, maintenance, and seamanship

• Experience supervising and mentoring junior deck crew

• Confident in tender operations, mooring, and anchoring procedures

• Valid STCW certification and ENG1

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Male candidate due to cabin arrangements

Deck Leadership & Responsibilities

• Lead, organise, and supervise the deck team on a daily basis

• Maintain high standards of deck maintenance, safety, and presentation

• Oversee mooring, anchoring, tender operations, and deck equipment

• Coordinate deck maintenance schedules and assist with planned maintenance systems

• Support bridge operations and navigational watches where required

• Ensure safety procedures and operational standards are consistently followed
