Magnitude Recruitment is seeking a motivated and professional Second Officer / Third Officer to join an 80m+ motor yacht operating a private dual-season programme

This role offers the opportunity to rotate between Second and Third Officer responsibilities, providing valuable operational experience within a structured bridge team on a large yacht. The successful candidate will support navigational operations, safety management, and deck leadership while maintaining high professional standards onboard.

2:1 rotation, EUR salary

Key Requirements

• OOW <3000GT licence

• Previous experience in an officer role on yachts of similar size

• Strong understanding of bridge operations and navigational watchkeeping

• Confident supporting deck operations and safety procedures

• Valid STCW certification and ENG1

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Male candidate due to cabin arrangements

Bridge & Operational Responsibilities

• Stand navigational watches as Officer of the Watch

• Support passage planning, navigation, and bridge operations

• Assist with safety management systems and compliance procedures

• Support deck operations including mooring, anchoring, and tender activities

• Maintain bridge documentation, logs, and navigational equipment

• Work closely with the Captain and senior deck officers to maintain safe vessel operations
