Job Description

Magnitude Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purser to join a 75m+ motor yacht operating a structured and professional programme.

This is a heavily administrative role focused on financial management, documentation, and operational logistics. The position works primarily behind the scenes, supporting the Captain, Management team, and Heads of Department to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the vessel.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial administration experience, advanced Excel capability, and familiarity with leading yacht management systems.

2/2 rotation, EUR salary (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

Full management of yacht administration and operational documentation

Crew administration including contracts, certification tracking, travel logistics, and medical claims

Financial administration including budgeting support, expense tracking, and accounts management using Voly

Preparation and maintenance of detailed financial reports and operational spreadsheets

Coordination with the Management Financial Manager for financial reporting and accounts administration

Management of port clearance documentation, compliance, and regulatory paperwork

Coordination of guest logistics including ground transport, reservations, and itinerary support

Oversight of purchasing administration and supplier coordination

Maintaining accurate and organised crew records and vessel documentation

Key Requirements

Previous Purser experience or a strong administrative background within yachting

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential

Experience using Voly, DeepBlue, and Pinpoint Works

Strong financial administration and reporting capability

Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Valid STCW certification and ENG1 (or equivalent)
