Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated 3rd Engineer to join a prestigious 100m+ private motor yacht operating a dual-season programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to join a professional engineering team onboard a world-class vessel.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief and 2nd Engineer to assist with the daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all engineering systems onboard while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency are maintained.

2/2 rotation. USD Salary. Dual season programme (Med/Caribbean). Starting ASAP

Requirements

• EOOW unlimited licence 
• Valid STCW
• Valid ENG1 Medical
• B1/B2 would be an advantage
• Previous experience onboard large yachts preferred
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of AV/IT, hotel services, and engine room operations advantageous
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
• High standards and strong work ethic

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of all machinery and technical systems onboard
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules
• Support watchkeeping duties as required
• Assist with bunkering, inventory control, and engineering logs
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the engine room and technical spaces
• Ensure all engineering tasks are completed in line with safety procedures and vessel standards
