Job Description
Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised Head Chef to join a 75m+ motor yacht operating a dual-season programme.
The vessel is currently in a short maintenance period, offering an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to integrate into the programme and prepare the galley ahead of the upcoming season.
This role is suited to a confident culinary professional with a strong background in both private and/or charter yachts, capable of delivering exceptional cuisine while managing a busy galley operation to the highest standards.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Chef on 70m+ motor yachts
- Strong background in high-end, diverse cuisine
- Experience within dual-season and/or charter programmes
- Ability to cater for both guests and crew to a consistently high standard
- Strong organisational and provisioning skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and galley management
- Valid STCW certification and ENG1
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Galley & Operational Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all galley operations onboard
- Plan and deliver high-quality, versatile menus tailored to guest preferences
- Cater for Owner, guests, and crew to a consistently high standard
- Manage provisioning, budgeting, and stock control
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation within the galley
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work closely with the Chief Stewardess to ensure seamless service delivery
