Job Description
Magnitude Recruitment is seeking a Spa & Hairdressing Stewardess to join a 70m+ motor yacht currently undergoing a maintenance period, with a view to transitioning into a full operational programme.
This role is primarily housekeeping-focused, supporting the Interior Team in maintaining exceptional onboard standards, while also delivering hairdressing and spa services to guests when required.
The Spa & Hairdressing Stewardess will report directly to the Second Stewardess for housekeeping duties and to the Chief Stewardess/Senior Spa for all spa and hairdressing services.
The core objective of this role is to ensure immaculate interior presentation, while enhancing the guest experience through professional hairdressing and spa treatments.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Interior Duties (Primary Focus)
- Completion of daily housekeeping duties as directed by the Chief & Second Stewardess
- Cleaning, detailing, and servicing of:
- Guest cabins and communal areas
- Crew areas and crew mess
- Pantry and service areas
- Gym, dive centre, and spa
- Packing and unpacking of guest luggage with complete discretion
- Assisting with guest arrivals and cabin orientation
- Managing inventory and stock control of:
- Toiletries
- Uniforms, linen, and towels
- Supporting laundry operations including washing, pressing, folding, and organisation
- Operating and maintaining laundry equipment
- Reporting maintenance or defect issues to the Head Housekeeper
Hairdressing & Spa Responsibilities (Secondary Focus)
- Delivering professional hairdressing services to guests, including:
- Blow dries and styling
- Event and evening styling
- Basic cuts and treatments (where qualified)
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of spa and beauty areas
- Assisting with spa operations and treatments as required
- Welcoming guests into the spa and ensuring a calm, luxury environment
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels for spa and hair products
- Logging treatments and reporting usage to senior interior crew
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and cleaned to a high standard
- Supporting spa readiness during maintenance and operational periods
Service & Team Support
- Assisting with food and beverage service when required
- Supporting crew uniform management
- Working collaboratively with all departments
- Completing additional duties as requested by the Chief Stewardess, Head Housekeeper, or Captain
Operational Duties (Support Role)
- Following daily interior procedures and checklists
- Supporting back-of-house operations and maintenance
- Adhering to Interior SOPs and vessel standards
General & Safety Responsibilities
- Maintaining a positive, proactive, and professional attitude
- Participating in watchkeeping duties as required
- Assisting with general vessel operations (fendering, provisioning, waste management)
- Attending drills, training, and safety briefings
- Carrying out emergency duties as per Muster List
- Complying with the vessel’s Safety Management System
Skills & Qualifications
- STCW Basic Training
- Security Awareness Certificate
- Recognised hairdressing qualification (essential)
- Spa/beauty therapy qualifications (highly desirable)
- GUEST Interior Certification (or equivalent) – beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional and guest-focused approach
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience onboard yachts or in a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong housekeeping and laundry background
- Proven hairdressing experience in a professional setting
- Previous yacht-based spa experience beneficial
