Job Description
Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and confident Chief Stewardess to join a 55m private/light charter motor yacht currently in build phase in Holland, due for delivery in the Spring. This is an excellent opportunity for a structured and service-driven leader to step into the interior department.
The successful candidate will be joining at a key stage in the project and will play an important role in preparing the interior for delivery and establishing operational standards post-launch.
Key Requirements
- Previous Chief Stewardess experience on yachts 55m+
- Ideally some new build or major refit experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage
- Excellent service standards across private and light charter operations
- Strong organisational and administrative capability
- Fluent English
- Professional presentation; fit, active, and non-smoker preferred
- Valid STCW certification and ENG1 (or equivalent)
New Build & Pre-Delivery Responsibilities
- Work alongside the current interior team during final build phase
- Assist with interior setup, inventory systems, and documentation
- Finalise service procedures and operational standards prior to delivery
- Support interior planning for transition into operational mode
Operational Leadership
- Lead and manage the interior department post-delivery
- Set structured, high standards across service, housekeeping, and administration
- Deliver a polished and discreet guest experience aligned with private owner expectations
- Oversee interior budgeting, provisioning, and stock control
- Work closely with the Captain and department heads to ensure smooth vessel operations
