Job Description

Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Bosun to join a well-established private motor yacht.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a motivated and professional deck team member who takes pride in maintaining high standards, supporting the wider team and working confidently in a guest-facing environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role within the deck team, supporting the smooth running of daily operations and ensuring consistently high standards of presentation and service.

60 days leave, EUR salary

Key Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience as a Bosun or Lead Deckhand on 50m+ motor yachts

• Proven longevity in previous positions is desirable

• Strong knowledge of deck operations, maintenance, and seamanship

• Guest-oriented with a professional and approachable manner

• Experience working within private owner programmes

• Shipyard experience considered a strong advantage

• Valid STCW certification and ENG1 (or equivalent)

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Deck Leadership & Responsibilities

• Lead, organise, and supervise the deck team on a daily basis

• Maintain high standards of deck maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation

• Oversee mooring, anchoring, and tender operations

• Support guest activities and ensure a safe and enjoyable onboard experience

• Assist with planning and coordination during shipyard periods

• Ensure safety procedures and operational standards are consistently followed
