Job Description
Magnitude Recruitment is seeking a Sous Chef to join a busy private 75m+ motor yacht.
This position would suit a strong Crew Chef looking to step up into a Sous Chef role, rather than a highly experienced Sous Chef, as the role remains predominantly crew food focused. The galley environment is well organised and relatively relaxed, with a supportive onboard atmosphere and realistic expectations.
The successful candidate must be confident managing themselves within the galley, have strong organisational skills, and be capable of producing high-quality crew meals consistently while also assisting with guest dining when required. Experience with Asian cuisine, fine dining, and classic recipes is essential.
2/1 rotation, EUR salary

Role Breakdown
- Approximately 80% crew food
- Approximately 20% guest food
Key Requirements
- Previous yachting experience in a galley role
- Strong crew food experience with good variety and consistency
- Confident with Asian cuisine and fine dining presentation
- Good knowledge of classic recipes and techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Organised, calm, and adaptable personality
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- STCW & valid ENG1 required
